TIME FOR HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS

Due to the fact that there was so much material in the Beistle
Company archives and I was limited to the number of photos as
well as text (to keep production costs to a minimum), the only
logical solution was to re-visit the Shippensburg, PA company and
produce another book on vintage Halloween collectibles.  My
intention was to pick up at the year I left off in the first book - 1949
- but in the time frame between both books, I received a call from
Beistle's Bob Hansen that they came across a large box of items
that was left undiscovered in the corner of the file room.  So
instead, my second book once again begins with the year 1920
and takes you through several decades before it takes it's leave at
1985.  Hindsight is 20-20 and after my first book TIMELESS
HALLOWEEN COLLECTIBLES was published, I realized that the
Stock Number wasn't an integral facet in the information collectors
were eager to know.  At the same time, I also knew that although
the Initial Release Year was a major piece of information, so too
was the Final Year of Production.  This data has been included in
TIME FOR HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS.

This book will tickle the Baby Boomer's fancy since most of these
vintage pieces are easily recognizable as they contributed to our
childhood Halloween memories.  It may surprise you to find that a
number of these collectibles, although their production was
prolific, carry some high dollar values.

There are over 395 color photographs of some of  the best
examples of Halloween memorabilia created by the talented artists
at Beistle.  It will come as no surprise to the holiday collectors out
there that Beistle was one of the premier producers of holiday
decorations - the only other company that shared  the top honors
was Dennison Manufacturing.

It is my extreme pleasure and honor to bring you another
Halloween reference book filled with hard data taken directly from
the Beistle Company archival record files.

Enjoy!
